Blimpie was featured in USA Today as a poster-child for America’s newfound obsession with Pepper Jack cheese.  The column, “Pepper Jack sales soar as buyers say spicy cheese, please” highlighted Blimpie as the leader among a number of notable brand giants, like Kellogg and Kraft, who had introduced the hit cheese in their own products. The print edition of the early March article reached more than 1.8 million daily subscribers.
