919 Marketing’s VP of Account Services, Scott Curkin, was featured in USA Today on an article about middle seats on airlines.
Curkin was on a business trip from Las Vegas to Phoenix when a small-framed passenger sat in the middle seat between him and 919 Marketing CEO, David Chapman. The man tried to claim both armrests and then hilariously tried to challenge Chapman to a midair fight.
“He went on a rant about how, as the occupant of the middle seat, he deserved to have both armrests,” remembers Curkin. The man then asked 919’s CEO to “step outside” to settle their difference as the plane began reaching cruising altitude.
