Before starting 919 Marketing, our Board Chairman David Chapman worked for the world’s largest publicly traded marketing agency. While there, he spearheaded a national cause marketing program connecting Nabisco Brands with the PGA Tour and St. Jude’s Hospital called “Chip In For Charity”.

Expand the Reach for Your Cause Using Data
At 919, we worked closely with a national military nonprofit to increase national consumer and corporate support of severely wounded troops.
We worked directly with brand ambassadors Leann Rimes, Big and Rich and Gary Sinise to raise money for the cause – our involvement led to Leann appearing on a Wheaties box with an unreleased song download to support wounded troops and their families. More than $10 million was donated in one year.
Scott Curkin and Mary Lindsaye Boyd lead 919’s nonprofit marketing practice. Mary Lindsaye has deep roots in the North Carolina nonprofit world, including most recently working for SEAA. Scott was an on-air reporter in Baltimore before transitioning to leading a digital department at ABC New York.
We’ve also had the honor of working on governmental and non-governmental agencies, including the National League of Cities, CESI, CAI, CFNC, NC 529 Plan and the ABC Commission.
